Ok so time for more photos from Liverpool Sound City. I’m running a day late because my iMac is really not that quick at processing 35mb RAW files from the x100s.
Another great night of live music. Lots of variety from Wave Machines at the Anglican Cathedral, to the visually stunning Lulu James at the Garage to the insane Marmozets at Screenadelica. We’re seriously spoilt for choice in this city for great music and great venues. If you want to hang out in the closest thing to a kert from Budapest with great food, great tunes, and a lovely sunset then you’ve got the Kazimier Gardens. The Garage should be a venue. Soft light during the day and lush atmospheric fog during the night. Of course the Anglican Cathedral just stomps on everyone for sheer spectacle.
After the first day with the x100s I felt 100% confident it was all I needed to shoot with. Day 2 and the Marmozets completely owned me. Those little buggers just wouldn’t stay still. The x100s is great but not a DSLR. Still, I preferred shooting with it than my D700. I’m working on day 3, the day in which my little x100s was melted by Enter Shikari. Stay tuned.
